Vintage and Vineyard
Grapes for this wine are grown on our Estate on Golflinks Road in Rowland Flat. A small parcel of highly flavoured fruit was earmarked and kept separate. Grapes were harvested on 18 March 2024 to avoid the anticipated heatwave.

Winemaking
Traditional on-skin fermentation for 6 days ensured the retention of fine delicate flavours from the Merlot grape.

Following pressing, malolactic fermentation and clarification, the wine was matured in a combination of French oak and stainless-steel tanks. This has softened and enhanced the wine’s structure.
This wine shows intensity and vibrancy but further bottle age will provide a reward of complex mature flavours.
