This 2008 Sparkling Shiraz spent two years in aged seasoned oak barrels prior to bottling ‘on tirage’. It was bottle fermented and left on its own yeast lees for extended maturation for 10 years, then disgorged.
This special wine is made in a full-bodied traditional Australian style and has an extremely fine bead with wonderful complexity and aged character. Rich ripe blackberry and red plum flavours with soft creamy tannins.
Best served chilled.
